Black and White: Defining Moments of Weddings and Marriage

We conceived Black and White as a paper promotion for Mohawk Superfine—a sheet of the highest quality with a lush, tactile surface on which rich velvety blacks print so beautifully. 

Black and White is a tribute to real-life moments in love and marriage shown through the honest photography of our friend and collaborator Steven E. Gross. Short personal essays based on interviews with a six-year-old, a woman in an arranged marriage, the father of a bride, a person married 52 years, and others express a range of thoughts and feelings on love and commitment. Playful divider pages capture the lighthearted bubbly essence of love and celebration and offer lively contrast to the photography.
