After surviving a life-threatening illness in his youth, Sadao Watanabe spent the rest of his life expressing his gratitude though art. Dick Brauer and Gregg Hertzlieb of the Brauer Museum of Art conceived this book as an illustrated Bible to be read with children.

A slip case contains this keepsake book. Typography mimics the texture and movement in the images and is set in larger sizes to ease sharing. Section opening spreads highlight details of the artist’s stroke and style and the richness of his color selections and printing process.
