Vanishing Beauty: Asian Jewelry and Ritual Objects from the Barbara and David Kipper Collection

Ultra high-resolution photography and larger than life details showcase the amazing Kipper collection. Providing context and complement, we used Barbara Kipper’s own editorial photography to show the objects in use in a vanishing way of life.

Our simple page compositions counter the intricacy and craftsmanship of each object while highly detailed typography mimics it. The combination of type and image is at the same time refined, textural, and inviting.
